Are there discounts available to help reduce Policyholders' annual premium?

Multi-Policy Discount

If you insure your home, mobile home, condominium or apartment with ERIE, you are eligible for an additional discount on both your Family Auto and HomeProtector or Mobile HomeProtector policies.

Raise your deductibles

Choosing higher Collision and Comprehension deductibles can reduce your premium. In many cases, the premium savings realized from increasing your auto policy deductible(s) can be enough to offset the difference between the lower and higher deductible after just a few years.

Passive Restraints, Anti-Theft and Anti-Lock Brake Discounts

If your vehicle has factory installed automatic seat belts or air bags, you receive a discount on the First party Benefits premium.

If your vehicle is equipped with a passive or active anti-theft device or the VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) is etched onto various areas of your vehicle, you can save money on your Comprehensive premium.

Vehicles with factory installed anti-lock brake systems are eligible for a discount on Bodily Injury and property Damage premiums.

Pioneer Experience Rating Credit (PERC) Discount

If you have been continuously insured with ERIE for at least three years and have a good claims history, you may qualify for a PERC discount.

Driver Training and College Student Discounts

A young driver (under age 21) insured on your policy who completes an accredited driver training course, may receive a driver training discount.

Young, unmarried, full-time college students who spend most of their college term away from home without the use of an auto receive a college student discount.

Age 55 and Older & Accident Prevention Discounts

If all named insureds have reached age 55 and voluntarily completed an approved driver improvement course within the last three years and are accident free, they can qualify for an accident prevention discount on BI, PD, UM/UIM, First Party Benefits, Comprehensive and Collision coverages.
